Action

required, custom

Choose the action to perform against the subscriber balance type selected. Options are:

  • set in VWS to This will change the subscriber’s balance for the balance type in the VWS server to the given value (in littles). It sets the absolute value of the subscriber’s balance.
  • is exactly This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it exactly matches the value provided by the test. If it doesn’t, the test will fail with a warning.
  • is less than This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it is less than the value provided by the test. If it doesn’t, the test will fail with a warning.
  • is no more than This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it is no more than (less than or equal to) the value provided by the test. If it doesn’t, the test will fail with a warning.
  • is more than This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it is more than the value provided by the test. If it doesn’t, the test will fail with a warning.
  • is no less than This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it is no less than (more than or equal to) the value provided by the test. If it doesn’t, the test will fail with a warning.
  • has changed by This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it has changed by the given amount (negative or positive) from the previous time the balance was retrieved.
  • has changed less than This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it has changed by less than the given amount (negative or positive) from the previous time the balance was retrieved.
  • has changed no more than This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it has changed by no more than (less than or equal to) the given amount (negative or positive) from the previous time the balance was retrieved.

  • has changed no less than This will retrieve the subscriber’s balance for the selected balance type from the VWS and check that it has changed by no less than (more than or equal to) the given amount (negative or positive) from the previous time the balance was retrieved.
  • retrieve balance This action will retrieve the balance of the subscriber from the VWS and store in local test storage. This is most useful in conjunction with the check has changed by action.

The has changed... options are most often used in conjunction with the retrieve balance option. Prior to a call, the balance is retrieved with retrieve balance; after the call, the call’s cost is checked using one or more of the has changed... options.
